OUR STORY
A Heritage of Faith in Rockwall
Rockwall Baptist Church traces its roots to the late 1950s. For decades, the church was known to generations of families in the Rockwall community as Bethel Baptist Church.
Through the years the name has changed, but the foundation has not. The same Word of God that was preached to generations at Bethel Baptist Church remains at the heart of Rockwall Baptist Church today. Times change, communities grow, and generations come and go, but the truth of God's Word does not change.
We are thankful for those who faithfully served, taught, preached, prayed, worshipped, and labored here through the years. Their faithfulness is part of the heritage entrusted to us today.
As Rockwall Baptist Church, we look forward while holding fast to that biblical foundation: preaching Jesus Christ, teaching the Word of God, strengthening believers and families, and carrying the Gospel to others.

For decades, Bethel Baptist Church served families in Rockwall through preaching, teaching, prayer, fellowship, and a commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The people, prayers, sacrifices, and ministry of those years remain an important part of who we are today.
NOW
Rockwall Baptist Church
Today, Rockwall Baptist Church continues that work with a renewed focus on reaching families, discipling believers, strengthening homes, and carrying the Gospel forward.
We are grateful for the past while looking ahead with confidence in the Lord and His unchanging truth.

WHY WE EXIST
Christ First in All Things
Everything we do should ultimately point people toward Jesus Christ.
We desire to reach those who do not know Christ, disciple believers through the Word of God, strengthen Christian homes, encourage faithful living, and help carry the Gospel locally, nationally, and around the world.
Our goal is not simply to gather a crowd. Our desire is to see people saved, lives changed, families strengthened, believers growing, and Christ glorified.
