WHAT TO EXPECT
A Simple Sunday.
A Serious Faith.
You will find a friendly church family, traditional worship, clear Bible preaching, and a sincere desire to honor Jesus Christ.
YOUR FIRST SUNDAY
You Do Not Have to Know What to Do Before You Come
Visiting a church for the first time can feel unfamiliar. We want your first Sunday at Rockwall Baptist Church to feel simple, comfortable, and welcoming.
You do not need to know the songs, understand the order of service, dress a certain way, or have a church background. Come as you are, bring your family, and we will be glad to help you find your way.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Here Is What Your Visit Will Feel Like
No complicated process. No pressure. Just a church family that is glad you came.
Park & Come In
Find a place to park and come inside. If you are unsure where to go, just ask someone. We will be glad to help.
Meet Friendly People
Expect a warm welcome without feeling singled out. We want guests to feel comfortable, not pressured.
Worship Together
We sing congregational hymns, pray together, read Scripture, and listen to the preaching of God's Word.
Stay & Visit
After the service, take time to meet Pastor Tony and members of the RBC family. We would love to get to know you.
OUR WORSHIP
Reverent, Joyful, and Christ-Honoring
Our services are traditional in style and centered on worshipping the Lord rather than creating a performance.
You can expect congregational hymn singing, prayer, Scripture reading, and preaching. We believe worship should be heartfelt, reverent, joyful, and focused on Jesus Christ.
You do not need to know every hymn or every part of the service. Simply join us and worship with us as you are able.
THE PREACHING
The Word of God Is Central
Our preaching is straightforward, Bible-centered, and intended to help people know Christ, understand Scripture, and live faithfully.
King James Bible
The King James Bible is used in our preaching, teaching, worship, and ministry.
What We BelieveCOMMON QUESTIONS
What Should I Wear?
There is no dress code for guests.
Do I Need to Dress Up?
No. Some people dress more formally and others more casually. We care far more about you being here than what you are wearing. Come in a way that allows you to feel comfortable and worship.
Will I Be Put on the Spot?
We want to welcome you, not embarrass you. You will not be expected to speak publicly, and you are free to participate in the service at the level that feels comfortable to you.
FAMILIES & CHILDREN
Your Family Is Welcome Here
We want parents to feel comfortable bringing their children and we want children to know they are part of the church family.
Sunday School and family ministries provide opportunities for children and teens to learn the Bible in age-appropriate settings. If you are unsure where your child should go, someone will be glad to help.
Families are also welcome to worship together. We understand that children are children, and we want parents to feel at ease.

AFTER THE SERVICE
Church Is More Than a Meeting
One of the things we value most is genuine Christian fellowship.
After the service, people often stay to visit, encourage one another, meet guests, and spend time together. You are welcome to stay as long as you like.
If you have questions about the church, salvation, the Bible, ministries, or your next step, Pastor Tony or another member of the church family would be glad to talk with you.
